The William Berndt Award - This award is named after the late William Berndt who was the Mr. Landstreet's first sensei. Mr. William (Bill) Berndt was one of the original founding members of the Shufu Judo Yudanshakai and devoted a large portion of his life to Kodokan Judo. The William Berndt Award is presented to an outstanding member of the club or a supportive club associate, who performed thoughtful acts of contribution that helped to improve the Arlington Judo Club.

Judoka of the Year - This award is given to the year's most devoted member of the Arlington Judo Club. Selection criteria include excellent class attendance, outstanding attitude, involvement at sanctioned tournaments, clinics and Arlington Judo Club events. The recipient may be a competitor or a non-competitor.

Senior Competitor of the Year - This award is given to a Senior, age 16 to adult, who best represented the Arlington Judo Club at sanctioned competitions for the year. The selection for this award is based on the number of tournaments entered for the year, the level of competition, the success rate, and a visible positive attitude, competitive spirit and good sportsmanship displayed during competition

Junior Competitor of the Year - This award is given to a Junior, age 6 to 16, who best represented the Arlington Judo Club at sanctioned competitions for the year. The selection for this award is based on the number of tournaments entered for the year, the level of competition, the success rate, and a visible positive attitude, competitive spirit and good sportsmanship displayed during competition.
